Cardiac Science’s Intellisense™ CPR feedback design is built into these defibrillation pads for the AED G5. Once the electrodes are placed on the victim’s bare skin, the technology communicates valuable information to the rescuer regarding effective chest compression rate, depth, and recoil. Voice and text prompts through Cardiac Science’s proprietary CPR Feedback process provide an additional level of support and data to both the professional and novice rescuer. Additionally, the dual language feature can be accessed at any time during the rescue process.
The two-year shelf life date is stamped on the pads and this date, along with the battery status should be monitored by an AED program that provides reminders. It is advisable to have an extra set of electrodes available.
Cardiac Science designs this AED G5 to be used with their proprietary Intellisense Battery as well as the Intellisense electrodes. Notice from Cardiac Science regarding Third-Party Electrodes, Batteries Date: November 13, 2013.
