Sodasorb CO2 Absorber

Description

Medical Grade CO2 absorbent complies fully with the United States
Pharmacopeia National Formulary specifications for carbon dioxide absorbents. SODASORB® is
intended for professional use in anesthesia circuits/systems and respiratory therapy equipment
for the purpose of removing exhaled carbon dioxide from a breathing circuit.
COMPOSITION
Grace SODASORB® Medical Grade CO2 absorbent is a pelletized compound consisting primarily of
hydrated lime (Ca(OH)2) blended with a small quantity of sodium hydroxide (NaOH). SODASORB
also contains a fractional content of ethyl violet dye.
